About Ken May

Ken May is a Consumer Markets CEO having led corporate renewal and later stage growth across 7 industry verticals. He has held leadership positions with Cendant, Wyndham Worldwide, Citigroup, Disney, PepsiCo and Colgate-Palmolive. More recently, Ken has advised investors and operators within the travel, hospitality and real estate sectors. He is an operating partner of SF-based ClearPoint Investment Partners and senior advisor to AlixPartners Global Business Advisory.

Ken served as Chairman and CEO of Group RCI, Cendant’s vacation network group. Group RCI, (now Wyndham Destination Network, part of the Wyndham Worldwide spin-off from Cendant), is the global leader in vacation rentals and timeshare exchange serving over 4 million member customers from a network of 30 brands and 60,000 properties in 50 countries. Wyndham Destination Network is also a leading consultant to tourism operators, consumer brands, hospitality companies and investors looking to develop mixed-use leisure real estate, destination clubs, and shared ownership plans, as well as large scale membership and loyalty programs.

At Disney, Ken led the early development, management and expansion of mixed-use hotel & vacation club resorts in Walt Disney World, Vero Beach, and Hilton Head Island.  Disney Vacation Club has since become a leader in shared ownership vacation real estate.Including his time at Cendant/Wyndham Worldwide and The Walt Disney Company, Ken has spent 30 years in the U.S., Asia, Europe and Latin America involved in hospitality management, resort development, consumer banking, travel services and consumer packaged goods. He held the positions of General Manager, Citibank North America Credit Cards; President and General Manager, Disney Vacation Development; CEO of PepsiCo’s Grupo Gamesa, (Mexico’s largest food company); and senior marketing roles with Colgate-Palmolive in 4 countries.

Ken received a B.A. in Russian from Middlebury College, Vermont and an M.B.A. from Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona.
